The Inspector General
V∴Ill∴Bro D. R. Jarvis 33° Inspector General has dedicated over four decades to Rose Croix Freemasonry, marked by unwavering commitment, service, and active leadership across multiple Districts.
David’s Rose Croix journey began with his Perfection in May 1984 into Holy Rood Chapter No.855, where he first embraced the deeper teachings and fellowship of the Order. This formative step laid the foundation for a lifelong devotion to the Ancient & Accepted Rite , he became a Founder Member of two Chapters in the District of Wiltshire:
- Arthur Wilkins Chapter No.1083 and Avebury Chapter No.1161
These founding roles reflect his commitment not only to participation, but to growth and expansion of the Order.
In the District of Berkshire, V∴Ill∴Bro Jarvis has been an active and supportive member within several Chapters, holding joining memberships and honorary memberships in: Bombay Chapter, Donnington Castle Chapter, Thames & Chilterns Chapter, Maidenhead Chapter, Windsor Castle Chapter, Albert Victor Chapter and St. Cecilia Chapter.
Extending his service beyond Berkshire, he is also a member of Suprema Lex Chapter in London, further demonstrating his broad engagement within the Order.
In December 2019, his services were recognised with his appointment as Inspector General for Berkshire — a role carrying significant responsibility for oversight, guidance, and the continued prosperity of the District. His leadership is characterised by integrity, experience, and a deep respect for all Masonic traditions.
V∴Ill∴Bro D. R. Jarvis 33° Masonic journey stands as a testament to sustained commitment, thoughtful leadership, and enduring companionship within the Rose Croix more formally known as the Ancient & Accepted Rite.
