Welcome to the Berkshire Rose Croix website!

I am David R. Jarvis, the Inspector General for Berkshire.

The Masonic District of Berkshire has 9 Chapters situated at Abingdon, Newbury, Sindlesham, Wallingford and Windsor. Therefore there is a Rose Croix Chapter within easy reach of most parts of Berkshire.

Brethren wishing to join this beautiful Christian Order will find that the emphasis is on members who maintain the quality, friendliness and warmth of the Order, with a thought-provoking ritual.

‘The Order, which is open to all Freemasons, amplifies the teachings of Craft Masonry within a Christian context.

Candidates must have been a Master Mason in UGLE for at least six months, a subscribing member and willing to join the Order by means of a degree based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

As with other Masonic Orders, members are, in the fullness of time, invited to take progressive Office, the demands of which are not arduous – rather, enjoyable and fulfilling – culminating in election to the Chair’.

If you are interested then please contact our District Recorder, Ill. Bro. Tony Rees, or any of the Chapters via their respective Recorders.

For non-masons, we hope this site expands your understanding and broadens your knowledge of Freemasonry. We invite you to explore our website, stay updated with current news, and consider becoming a part of this wonderful Order. You will not regret it.

Thank you for visiting, and we hope you enjoy browsing our site.
